Santa Irene Monastery - Hrysopigi Monastery - Agia Triada (Holy Trinity) monastery - The cave Maria Arkoudiotissa.
We start our excursion visiting the monastery of Santa Irene which is covered in natural green colors. Then we will visit the peninsular of Chersonissos and we will visit Chrisopigi monastery, built in the 16th century. We continue visiting Agia Triada Monastery with its long and not plain history. Known not only as a monastery but also for olive oil and wine production. Our next visit will be the cave of Maria Arkoudiotissa. Then we will wander around and we will make a stop in a local tavern for lunch. After the lunch we head towards Rethymno.
